an award-winning children's book author and illustrator of over 26
published books. Her titles are full of her richly-textured, brightly
colored artwork and simple text. Twinem is a
regular speaker at schools, conferences and literacy festivals across
the country. She loves to share the process of creating books with
children and adults. She graduated with a fine arts degree from the San
Francisco Art Institute. Neecy enjoys writing and illustrating in the
inspiring natural surroundings of her new home studio in the Sandia
Mountains .

Participants
will have a variety of opportunities to learn about helping students
excel in the area of literacy. The keynote session,
two breakout sessions, and wonderful materials and information from
publishers will be available. Don’t miss this great

our students become lifelong readers!
